Insomnia or stupidity?
Last night I found myself looking at the clock off and on not really noting time pass. One minute it was 1am, then I looked back...5am.
While I do tend towards being a night owl, this is the first time since college that I've been up so late. The thing is, its not an isolated event. I find myself routinely awake at 3 and 4 am many nights. Usually with something to do the next morning.
I've come to two conclusions/solutions: 1) I'm giving up caffeine for a while to test how that might have an impact. 2) I'm going to stop playing computer games when I can't sleep since that mindless activity seems to make things worse.
I don't claim to be a true insomniac as that is an illness and I think what I have going on here is just poor planning mixed with a little too much Dr. Pepper. So I'll give it a whirl and we'll see what comes of it.
*yawn*
